Fabio Zambolin
Fabio Zambolin makes sharp-edged, soulful wines from tiny parcels on the calcareous slopes of Alto Piemonte. A former mechanic with a garage cellar, Fabio works by hand, farming steep hillsides in Lessona and Bramaterra. His wines—mostly mountain Nebbiolo—are honest, focused, and built without pretense. Just pure site, clear intent, and a deep connection to place.
Farming Note
Everything is done by hand—no herbicides, no synthetic inputs. Just thoughtful farming with deep respect for the land.
Winemaking
Spontaneous fermentations in small vessels. Aged in old wood or steel, depending on the wine. No fining, no filtration, minimal sulfur—everything done by feel.
